Phil joined GCL in March 2007 as an Associate Director and is responsible for a team of client accountants as well as making contributions to the growth of the business.

Financial Director of a number of Lloyds Brokers. As such he took two non-Lloyd’s brokers through the necessary steps to comply with the then regulations to ensure the acceptance by the Committee of Lloyds.
As Manager of a large Canadian Unit Trust and PEPS funds management institution Phil ensured not only the smooth running of the department on a day to day basis but also instituted the launch of a number of new unit trusts. He also oversaw the production of the half yearly and annual reports and other literature that were required to be sent to investors and ensured that they complied with the legislation in force.
At the same time the institution was forming a new bank and Phil also assisted to some extent in the implementation of this.
Over the last 14 years he has been involved with a number of Chartered Surveying practices, both on the financial as well as the property management side.
Phil is married with two daughters, one is a Certified Accountant and the other is a Solicitor.
In his spare time, Phil enjoys cricket and used to coach junior squash players but now just works out at the gym a few times a week.
